Formal terms governing client-side cryptographic generation, risk assumption, and data processing practices.
1.1 Execution Environment: PayCow Tools operates strictly as a client-side cryptographic generation interface. All mathematical computations, including without limitation the generation of BIP-39 mnemonic entropy, hierarchical deterministic (HD) key derivation pursuant to BIP-32, BIP-44, BIP-84, BIP-86, SLIP-0010, and CIP-1852 standards, and the derivation of asymmetric public/private keypairs, execute entirely within the local runtime environment of the User's client device.
1.2 Absolute Absence of Custody: At no point does PayCow, its operators, affiliates, or hosting infrastructure transmit, receive, intercept, escrow, log, or maintain custody of User private keys, seed phrases, extended keys, or decrypted credentials. The User acknowledges that PayCow is not a bank, broker, custodian, financial intermediary, or money services business (MSB), and possesses no technical capability to access User assets or reverse executed operations.
2.1 Irrevocability of Distributed Ledger Operations: Blockchain networks and distributed ledger transactions are immutable, decentralized, and irreversible. If a User misplaces, loses, forgets, or exposes a generated mnemonic seed phrase or private key, the cryptographic assets associated with the corresponding addresses become permanently irrecoverable. PayCow cannot reset credentials, decrypt stored data, regenerate unrecorded keys, or recover lost funds under any circumstances.
2.2 Local Endpoint Security: The security of generated cryptographic material depends entirely upon the integrity of the User's local hardware, operating system, network connection, and browser environment. The User assumes sole and exclusive responsibility for protecting their endpoint against malware, keyloggers, malicious browser extensions, session hijacking, phishing attempts, unauthorized physical access, and clipboard manipulation.
2.3 Heterogeneous Implementation Variance: Different third-party wallet providers, hardware devices, and node implementations may employ diverging address encoding schemes, derivation paths, or curve parameters. While PayCow strictly complies with standard specification vectors, the User is expressly advised to independently verify keypair compatibility and perform small-value test transactions prior to committing material financial value.
3.1 Purpose of Account Registration: User authentication (email identifier and password hash) is enforced exclusively as a structural rate-limiting and anti-abuse control to mitigate automated distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, brute-force exploitation, and infrastructure saturation.
3.2 Privacy-Preserving Practices: PayCow does not collect Know-Your-Customer (KYC) identity documentation, government identification, physical addresses, or financial telemetry. Users are fully entitled and permitted to utilize anonymous virtual private network (VPN) tunnels, proxy networks, and disposable/pseudonymous email addresses.
3.3 Voluntary Ledger Records: If the User voluntarily elects to save a public address record via the interface, only the public address string, network identifier, derivation path string, and custom user-provided label are retained in the database. Private cryptographic secrets are rejected by server-side schema firewalls and are never accepted for persistence.
THE SOFTWARE, INTERFACES, SCRIPTS, AND DERIVATION ENGINES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
PayCow does not warrant that the functions contained in the software will meet specific User requirements, that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that cryptographic algorithms will remain immune from future computational or quantum-cryptanalytic vulnerabilities.
5.1 Exclusion of Consequential Damages: In no event shall PayCow, its developers, contributors, or service providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of cryptographic assets, loss of profits, business interruption, corruption of data, or key compromise), however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this software.
5.2 Indemnification: By accessing and utilizing this software, the User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PayCow and its maintainers from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or damages resulting from the User's breach of these terms, unauthorized local key handling, or violation of applicable regulatory frameworks within their jurisdiction.
